Amazing Thing I've Done
Through volunteer work I did, I visited 10 countries in just 15 months. Before that experience, I couldn’t imagine it was possible. On that trip and since then, I have made a lot of friends from different countries. It has been a precious, life-changing time for me. I no longer see people as belonging to a different race or having a different culture or language. I accept and love them as fellow human beings, just as they are.
私は1年３か月のうちに10か国においてボランティア活動をすることが出来ました。そんなことが出来るなんて以前は思ってもみなかったですが、私自身が世界や私たちの人種、文化、伝統、言語のようなどんな違いを日本人としてではなく一人の人間として抱くまたは愛する為に本当に本当に貴重な期間でした。
Travel Memories
When I was in New Zealand I tried to ride a big horse. He seemed huge. I was OK sitting on the horse, but I was a bit scared to ride him. But once he started walking, I forgot my fear and was moved by the beautiful view. I can still vividly remember the hills with grazing cows and sheep, and the beautiful sunset. It was spectacular!
ニュージーランドにいた時、大きな馬にのらせてもらう機会がありました。乗ったはいいものの、馬を歩かせるのは少し怖かったですが、馬に乗りながら見た景色が忘れられません。たくさんの丘に牛や羊がいて、綺麗な夕日も見ることが出来ました。
